Q What time do the gates open? What time is the first race?
A The gate opening time and first race time vary between race days. The gate opening time will be at least 1 hour prior to the first race. The first race time will be released generally two days prior to the races. For confirmation of gate opening and first race time, please call us on (02) 6652 1488
Q Can I bring alcohol into the races?
A The Coffs Harbour Racing Club is  fully licensed and you are not permitted to bring alcohol onto the premises. There are ample facilities provided to purchase alcoholic beverages on the day. The Club will thoroughly check all goods / bags / eskies prior to entering the course. The Club practises responsible service of alcohol.
Q Can I bring food into the races?
A Yes, you can bring food onto the venue although the Club provides a substantial catering selection and food can be pre organised or purchased at one of the many venues around the course.
Q Can I bring a gift?
A Coffs Harbour Racing Club allows you to bring gifts onto the course, however they may be opened to check for content.
Q Parking?
A There is ample free car parking on the racecourse grounds.
Q What do I wear?
A Entry to the general admission area of the racecourse requires guests to be neatly dressed. Please refer to the Terms and Conditions of entry for details on dress regulations for entering the Coffs Harbour Racing Club.
Q Can I have my bucks or hens party at the Coffs Harbour Racing Club?
A Yes, Coffs Harbour Racing Club will allow groups to conduct these activities but they will be subject to strict control of behaviour. As a licensed venue the Club reserves the right to refuse entry and to ask an individual or group to leave the premises if it feels that the behaviour is inapropriate. Patrons entering the course for the purpose of group functions will be required to declare the purpose of the function to the raceday office. 
Q Can I bring my children to the races?
A Children 16 years and under are welcome at all race meetings* and receive complimentary admission. Children must be accompanied at all times by a responsible adult.

Children in the general admission area must be under the immediate supervision of an adult at all times.

Children entering the Member’s Enclosure must be in the IMMEDIATE presence of a responsible adult AT ALL TIMES and must be suitably attired.

Children under the age of 18 are not allowed to approach any beverage outlets or the saddling enclosure.

* On the Carlton Draught Coffs Harbur Gold Cup Day patrons must be at least 18 years of age.
Q  Smoking?
A As the Club is a public venue and is subject to venue smoking laws, smoking will only be permitted on lawn areas. Fines can be issued by Health Officials in non smoking areas.
Q  Where is lost property?
A Lost property is kept at the main raceday office. Lost property items are stored for a period of 3 months and will then be donated to charity. All enquiries regarding lost property should be directed to (02) 6652 1488.
Q  Is there public transport available after the races?
A There is a taxi rank on Howard Street, outside the main entry. The Club also organises buses (gold coin donation) to transport patrons to various location on Carlton Draught Coffs Harbour Gold Cup Day.
Q  Are there cash withdrawal facilities on course?
A Yes, there are EFTPOS facilities in the Raceday office and on Carlton Draught Coffs Harbour Gold Cup Day we have a number of EFTPOS machines available in the undercover carpark area. Please note that Credit Card cash withdrawals are not available on course.
